Kobudo is a weapons art. It is separate from Karate, but most Karate styles have an element of kobudo. Weapons of kobudo are widely varied, but some of the more common are the Kama, Tonfa, Nunchaku, Bo, Eiku and Sai. |

Comment by Bart Scovill on November 10, 2009 at 10:22am - Not really, just what's in Master Trias' Pinnacle. We typically have to run this form for our Shodan test. I've learned lots of bo forms, but this is the only one I work regularly.

Wagner on November 7, 2009 at 8:58pm - Hi Bart sensei, I was just viewing some of the videos in the store section and caught your video of Shirotaro no kun (White barrel staff form). Well done! I did not know who else does this form until I saw it printed on the video page. I see it as being a rare form. I was taught this form by Kaicho Terry Sanders (Shorei-ryu). Do you have any history or origin on this form?
