Good point. Teaching is not easy, at all. I tried teaching one of my friends, who seemed 'interested'. After just two sessions, I lost it because he was a very lazy fellow. Was picking up fast but showed no dedication, at all. I shouldn't have vol...
I started with my training in Kickboxing on my 23rd birthday, which was in June 2006. I never knew I'd get so much into Martial Arts. I just joined for the heck of it, hoping to meet some interesting people, lol.
Got serious right from day one. My teacher is awesome and I try my best to learn as much as I can from him. I feel kind of bad because I started so late but I guess it's better late than never.
I have a passion for all styles/disciplines and do not limit myself to just one. I try to learn new moves/combos from internet video sources such as YouTube, MetaCafe & MySpace.
I also have a keen interest in Kobudo, the Tonfa being my favourite weapon. I'd love to try out the Three-section staff too but don't have the space for it at this time. I made myself a Nunchaku at home using nylon chord and plastic tubes but never really used it much.

To be honest, my training is sort of in maintenance mode. I had to miss the Symposium this year, and that's usually a major motivator for me. We've got a black belt test coming up at the end of the year or beginning of next, so I'll start training for that soon. How about you?

Thanks for the gift buddy! We've had breast cancer awareness activities all month, so the ribbon is especially appropriate this month.
I just attended a three day symposium in Columbia SC where one of my black belts successfully tested for his Nidan. Lots of sore muscles and bruises but great training. Learned a new Jo kata and some techniques for improving my throws. Lots of jiujitsu too.
Are you attending the Martial Arts Extravaganza In Assam?
