I began my study in martial arts on Jan. 2, 1964 in Wing Chun. I also studied and hold Rank in Korean Tang Soo Do, Korean Tae Kwon do, American Freestyle.
Hi! We were ITF, but from what I've heard, back in the eighties our dojang was harrassed rather heavily by the FBI because of Grandmaster Kim's ties to Korea. Apparently, each class, agents would show up and start taking down names. Master Kim severed his ties to ITF at that time. I'd like to know more about the situation, but there's probably a lot better left untold. I know that he used to train under General Choi. I wonder if he was sorry to break away from him.
