Biography

Ikkyu in JKA Shotokan from '73 to '78 and started with Okinawan Shuri Ryu in 2003. Received my nidan on saturday May 23rd. Both my kids train Shuri Ryu, Freja yonkyu with me in Kolding and Kristen ikkyu with Sensei Hood in Greenville, SC. Currently I am a referee in the Danish Karate Federation, DKF, and a member of the executive committee of DKF.

And I am looking forward to Kristens return to Denmark after having been with Sensei Tommy Hood in Greenville for almost a year. I am grateful for this opportunity Sensei Tommy Hood has given him. Thank you!
