I started training martial arts since I was 8 or 7 yrs old. I started training Shorin-Ryu Karate until yellow belt( the place was too far). Then I started training Shuri-Ryu Karate with Sensei Baker when I was 10 yrs old. Due to the fact that I couldn't afford classes by the time I ranked 8th kyu Blue Belt,
I had to take a 2-year-hiatus. Around that time, I took up boxing, but that didn't last that long. And then during my freshmen year in Booker High School, I took up self defense class by Ms. Aschenbrenner(I don't know if I spelled her name right), and bless my soul, she was teaching Shury-Ryu, so after I told her that I've trained Shruri-Ryu, she helped me with my scholarship, and then I trained with Sensei Baker. Around that time in high school, it was the first time I met Shihan Judge, Shihan Roensch(When he was Shihan), and Sonnie Lasker(Forgive me if you have a title, it's been so long). During the time in High School, I was in and out of training due to the VPA music program. Currently, my rank is 1st Kyu Brown Belt, and after I reach Shodan, maintaining my strength in Shuri Ryu, I hope to study other styles like, Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, Capoeira, Mixed Martial Arts, etc...
