I offer a three hour seminar on the use of the cane as a weapon. Almost finished with the level-2 course for advanced techniques.

In 1980 we had a teacher that did a cane form and it was really interesting how he could use it. I should try to learn a form with a cane one day I might get old and need one. Have you put the form on video?

- Biography
- I train in Shuri-ryu Karate-do and Shuri-Te Jiu-Jitsu. I've been training in the martial arts since 1973. Also have a Degree in Computer Science and Asian Studies from the University of Tennessee. Been studying Japanese since 1982 but getting rusty due to non-use.
I have previously trained in Shorin-Ryu (under Shihan Frank Hargrove), Isshin-Ryu, and Shintoyoshin-Jiu-Jitsu. I also train in weapons (The Bo being my alltime favorite). Currently writing a book on Jiu-Jitsu practice sequences for those who are already studying the arts.
- 2002 - Shihan Don Isaak's uke in the 6-Volume video set entitled: "Shuri-Ryu: Battlefield Karate" from Panther Video (Century Martial Arts).
