If I were a smarter man I would've read the title properly lol

Ever since I saw some ISKA on ESPN I noticed that everyone announces their Kata/Forms very sternly and almost aggressivly. I was wondering what the reason was behind this?

I'm not saying I'm against it in anyway, I've just noticed it to be a very common thing in the States and I've never had it explained to me as to why it's done in that fashion. I'd like to understand.

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated :-)

The form is called "White Tiger 5". I placed 1st.

What was the name of the Kata/Form? I couldn't quite hear over the background noise :(
